Like if a player has a spell at 75%, it would have a 75% chance of casting successfully, instead of having a success rate of 40%.</p>

If you chose 4 as the failure, it would've resulted in a 16% failure rate. Even if the mastered spell/skill was at 99% it's still possible to get like 10 failures in a row since there'd be a 1% chance of failure with each cast. 40% was based on a 4/10 successful cast trial. :)</p>

I think 40% is exagerating a bit, but we can't do it based souly on percent.</p>

Just for a lark, I took a four sided die and rolled it 50 times. I assigned 1 as being failure, 2-4 as successes.</p>
<p dir="auto">1 - 18</p>
<p dir="auto">2 - 11</p>
<p dir="auto">3 - 13</p>
<p dir="auto">4 - 08</p>
<p dir="auto">36% failure rate on randomness, even though logic tells us it should be only 25%.</p>
