Also, I think that a higher martial arts proficiency should affect weapon skills other than hand to hand. Like flails for example. If you were better at moving your body, don't you think you'd be able to hit and dodge more easily?</p>

How about this? Some weapons could be used as more than one type. I could use a chain as a whip, but I could also wrap it around my fist and use it as a hand to hand weapon (I guess that would fit in exotic right now). Could use a bow as a blunt weapon. you get the idea.</p>
