Well, I know back in the days of the testport you could summon mobs.
I think you should be able to summon mobs…. Not all mobs of course- that would cause all sorts of chaos. But I think certain ones should be summonable. I can't think of a practical use right now, except for bringing it to you so that you can fight it, or summoning it so that you can charm it. It's an idea though...

….Or maybe summoning Dieties, Elementals, whatever to assist in combat?
I'm not talking about weak shit that does 5 damage per round, I'm talking like an extra person attacking dammit.

Didn't this last time end up being where all the high level mobs were killing everyone in Plith and Olaria? And the bitching could be heard around the world.

I'm talking about a different type of summon Jazz. This mob would jump in and help you in a fight. Not the type of summon in which you summon a mob and leave him in plith so he aggros all the newbies.

Just making sure. Yes, I think Geo's should have summon Elementals and Necro Summon dead.

i think you should be able to summon monkeys who have boxes of cookies tied to their lil monkey tails and you can chase the monkey around screaming "EEEeeEEe cookies!" but that's just me dreaming again…

Ok, I know this is a little off the original subject, but it does have to do with summon.
Correct me if I am wrong but TRICKING people into pk and especially CPK is illegal.
Now I was told by Syn that casting a nexus from a room next to a cpk room and waiting for someone to walk thru and into the cpk was TRICKING them in, hence illegal.
Seems to reason that summoning someone who was running through the wilderness, either manually or on a path, to a room next to a cpk room so that the path takes them into cpk would be just as illegal.
If this is the case the person doing that needs to be told to stop. It is falsely jacking up his stats and costing people their souls (he makes them join his church to get their stuff back). ANyways I stop now before I degrade into a flame.

I agree Red. Something definitely should be done about that.
Though, I thought you couldn't summon to/from wilderness at all?
One thing I will say in this someone's defense though. If they're running around with nosummon off, then they kinda have it coming if they get summoned somewhere unsavory.
and what the hell kind of church runs on blackmailing its own members?

On the nosum off thing, I thing the default was changed from on to off not sure. But the person thought it was on.
And some paths go thru towns as well, it might have been in the town still that they were summoned from, not sure.
