Ok, this topic is about a couple ideas to help with the hands issue

    1. Make lights obey the WEAR flags. Instead of having a slot for it, change that to a floating slot. This would allow for the idea of lights worn anywhere, like a pretty amulet or a SHIELD OF LIGHT!(cue impressive sounding music), or some such like that. Then, if you are using a light that MUST be held, it will go into your <held>slot. If the light can float, it does not enter into the holding arena.

    2. Allow bards to have the instruments in their inventory, or held… whatever their preference. However, depending on where the instrument is in relation to their hands, and whether they can easily be placed into said hands, will determine how quickly they can play music. Should the bard have their hands full, then in playing an instrument, they must suffer a slight delay, needed to "remove" the weapon or whatever is occupying their hands so they can play. Should they be unable to remove said items (say, finger traps!), they may not use an instrument. If they happen to be using the instrument already, they get a slight bonus on playing. The sage bonus would deal with the actual music playing. Delays incurred from getting the instrument ready would affect bards as well as their remort classes.</held>
