Scroll/Potion Keywords
-
Right now, potions and scrolls created by players have only the keywords "potion" or "scroll" respectively. It would make dealing with multiple types of them much, much easier to add the spell's name to the keywords. For example:
Now:
Object 'potion' is type potion, extra flags none.
Weight is 1, value is 0, level is 0.
Fragility is Normal, condition is 100%. It has been repaired 0/5 times.
It is made out of glass.
Contains level 120 spell of: 'heal'
My way:
Object 'potion heal' is type potion, extra flags none.
Weight is 1, value is 0, level is 0.
Fragility is Normal, condition is 100%. It has been repaired 0/5 times.
It is made out of glass.
Contains level 120 spell of: 'heal'

I believe the scrolls you buy from shops work fine. Dunno about the player-created ones. As far as potions are concerned, I absolutely agree with you. It's been a pretty big pain in the ass to get particular types of potions out when I keep them in the same container, and it's my natural instinct to put all potions, scrolls, food, etc. in the same container. It's not that big of a hassle to keep them in seperate containers, but it is pretty messed up, and I'd like to see it fixed, as well. Just thought I'd second that motion. 8O

I restring my most important potions: heal, cloak, and cancel, so that way I can just get them out of the potion bag by their name. Kind of an expensive and inconvenient solution for that problem. :P
