I think that it should be something in which people of all levels can participate and have a chance of doing well. Sure, any level could participate in a "go kill this huge guy and try not to get killed" type quest, but only the higher levels would have a chance of doing well. It needs to be something where everyone has an fairly equal chance of finishing and living to tell the tale.

I just re-read it, so I get it now. I hadn't slept in a while when I read it the first time. smiles

Its a very good story. I think maybe some more background info on the characters would make it a lot better though. Maybe some info on Mercedes' family, and the council, and maybe a brief bit about why Mercedes responds to Natalia the way she does. It would add depth to an already great story.

Oh, and one minor correction. You have Chapter 6 in there twice.
