Remort Descriptions

Alright about a week before Sent went down Nimue and I volunteered to do Remort Descriptions. We split the Neutral remorts while she took all the Good Remorts and I choose the Evil ones. Well needless to say I started these way back when Sentience was down and haven't redone them yet. The reason for that is because I want to know what people think of my ideas for the race. While Syn gave me a basic guideline for all of them some of them I winged it a little(espeacally for Avatar since no one has any ideas what they were) I still have to do Naga and Hell Baron which I'll probably do later but I wanted to get opions on these. They probably won't be put up for a little but hey, it's something for us to talk away while we while away the time before Sentience comes back up :).
Avatar- From a distance these look like your run of the mill human beings. That is until closer inspection. These beings are tall, no where near as tall as the other remort races but much taller then your average human. Looking at them close up reveals another odd detail. Everything about them seems long. Long Hair, Long nails and Long limbs, giving them a very lanky apperance. But don't be fooled, every muscele is full of power no human could hope to achieve, each of these avatars could easily outrun a wolf. Their eyes have to be the oddest thing about them. There is no true color to them, just the vast blackness of the pupil which takes up the whole eye. But within that pupil shines a faint white light in a starburst pattern. Indeed this glow seems to surround the entire being. Literally making the air ripple visiblely with each movement. The effect can be quite unsettling and even distractive in battle. Said to posses untold strength and wisdom, it is hard to believe this was once human.
Wraith- Many people have been in the presenece of wraiths but have mistake them for patches of mist or fog. Indeed though that is what they are. These humanoid creatures look like nothing but puffs of smoke given form. Naked they could pass as an odd patch of fog floating here or there and if in a mist will become impossible to spot. This gives them a great advantage in battle since you cannot hit what you can not see. But most of the time Wraith's can be found wearing cloths or armor which gives away their form in a rather unsettling way. Not many people are use to seeing walking patches of fog wearing armor or weilding a weapon. Their eyes are much like the clouds in the sky with two pin pricks of black serving as pupils. Though appearing as mist they are indeed very solid and can weild great power to become a formable foe.
Shur(Currently Specter)- The first thought that comes to mind is elf until the creamy pale skin that no elf posses is noticed. From there the dark hair and even darker eyes are easily spotted on this creature's pale form. The last thing noticed but not quickly forgotten are the six feathry angel wings on its back, each the color of pitch. That can mean it is a Shur, the sinsiter counter part of the Seraph. The males all are very handsome and the females hold a beauty rivaled only by the Seraph. Bt this is a dark beauty as reflected in their movements. They are very elegant indeed but it is a dangerous elegance that brings to mind a picture of a hunter slowing stalking its prey. They think themselves to be the highest of all races and constently look down upon the others with snears and cold gazes. Most times they won't even trust a fellow Shur unless it benifits it's own personal gain. Cold, Calculating and unmerciful in battle, they may not be mindless killers but their evil ways will have many begging for death when faceing them.
Fiend- At first this creature appears a dark shape on the even darker background of the night. A closer look reveals dark tainted skin and long, horrible claws. The face looks almost humanoid but certain features are distorted giving fiends a very demon like apperance. Fiends tend to have dark red eyes glowing with malice and long piercing fangs that gleam in the moonlight. Large bat-like wings rest on their backs, ready to unfold and take flight after the prey it uses to settle its deep thirst for blood. The closest thing to a demon in its natural form these creatures are not pleasent to look at. Though they do posses a great ability. Each holds the power the Shift there form. This ability allows them to change into a more, pleasent form and is also a god way to surprise a foe in battle or blend in at a town.
Yeah well, they suck I know. I hope you like them though. I really hope you like the Avatar idea. I really couldn't think of anythign else since Syn said they couldn't have tails or horns or wings etc etc. Well, I humblely await your replys. ;)

Please tell me you are going to use the description of the Hell Baron from Doom for the basis of that remort race. ;) That was the inspiration for that name when I told Syn about it. :D I mean… a minotaur on steroids with a side order of rage.. what horned savage creature of the devil would you have thought of? ;)
Anyways, good descriptions there so far. :)

Yeah what you just said is pretty much the guide line syn sent me. I think its a really good way to describe something a mino turns into. But yeah I'm going to be doing Naga and Hell Baron soon. My muse is out partying at the moment but she promised me she be back soon :)

Yeah… anyone that knows the Hell Baron from Doom would need no more visual description for that race. :>
Anyways... time to.... :sprint: go back to coding stuff.

Ok, I transfered the descriptions for Fiend, Shur, Avatar and Wraith. Also did a spell check and padded out the fragmented sentences. Now I just need the rest. Also need the ablitites, res, imm and specials for each race. I already have their stats. Jsut pm me with the info please.

cough Actually I believe it was originally MY idea :P but eh not gonna argue, doesn't matter.

I'm thinking of adding to the description. Since we're the only two Mystic active tell me what you think.
As it is now:
At one time any neutral race could transform into a Mystic but that window has passed and there are only a very few of this race left in the world. Mystics have no set appearance since they are mainly spirits and have lost their previous racial form and abilities. Most Mystics were once humans and when the powers that be gave them a choice to become Avatars they declined.
Addition:
Mystic care little for the forces of good or evil in the world, they mainly care only for their studies in the arts and power they can control. They tend to be loners and do not get along with other Mystics who they view as rivials.
HAve anything to add to that?

That is perfect. I remember when I first discovered a third Mystic (Rythen) I was very PMS-y about that and wanted his head as a trophy :P
