Why not black skin, white hair, white wings with black splotches or streaks in them. Like if the pureness of the wings are tainted with Drow evil :P

That's what I said a few posts ago, the patterns on the wings. I think that would be pretty nifty, but I think the whole point is that once you get to spector you're pretty much at the pinnacle of your corruption and taint ;) -
How about we just make it both? Some retain their black skin and white hair and some gain pale skin and black hair?

These are general descriptions, yeah? So variation is acceptable. If it were each persons individual one, I'd say have them write their own, but in this case you could say that skin color is either bone white or midnight black. Etc. As long as you make it clear that the skin doesn't look quite healthy, as opposed to the perfect flawless healthy Seraph skin it should be relatively simple.

Hehe, mitten that solution works quite nicely. The descrption can be altered to say that the skin does not look quite healthy as pasty white skin nor deep black skin is quite considered healthy. As for Seraph….they are the defination of beauty. I think we all prety much know what a Seraph looks like.

Those would be some frightening Seraphim Xavis.
One thing I thought I'd mention about the Seraph. Aren't they supposed to have some kind of red glow, due to the fact that they are the highest choir of angels? I seem to remember some work that describes them as so anyhow….

This is a taken directly from the DOOM manual:

For those of you who haven't played DOOM, the Barons of Hell were tall bastards, with pink heads and torsos, and brown legs, with dark hooves. They had spiraly horns on their head, and pissed-off looking bovine faces. No tails (that I ever noticed anyway), and the hands were indeed hands, not hooves.
Like the drow, I think this can vary from player to player...

I vote that Madcow be changed to Hell Baron so that Ertai can be the only true Minotaur immortal. >.> Madcow seems more fitting as the beast where Ertai is just a sexy bovine. :D :rofl:

Just read through those descriptions and they look pretty good Leena. I had an idea of how the Fiends would look (following your description). If you've seen the movie Underworld, think of that guy at the end when he's a cross between vampire and werewolf, with the black skin. The Fiend would kinda look like that with those red eyes, larger claws and those wings, and of course bigger…hehe. That'd be pretty wicked looking. :twisted:

Scratch that, there's an even better description of what a fiend would be like. When Dracula transforms in the movie Van Helsing, that's what a fiend would look like eh? Except it'd be black with red eyes.

I really dislike the Avatar discription. Even the name Avatar sounds kinda errr pretty lame. There has to be a better monicker for remort human. I don't have a name in mind but about anything would sound better. Now the description, why would the mutate into the thing above? Seems to me the eyes would be sharp and flashing. Long nails? sounds like a hag, unkempt. Long arms? I would think they'd be toned from all the fighting & practice. If he's so tall and lanky (like Warren the restringer?) won't his legs be dragging the ground when he's on his mount? j/k sorta I've actually seen that, a long legged fella on horseback, legs dragging. :lol: Being the first AvAtAr has no bearing on my dislike for the discription :yes:

I agree that that discription is both badly written and portrays Avatars pretty poorly. I am at a loss for a new name for Human remorts as well. Even though I agree that Avatar may not be the best name, until we see a decent one suggested, it will have to do. Congrats on your remort though :)
