    Yea I like your additions too. I would think if the healer is not fighting they should get to heal a bit faster. Grin

    yea, that's a problem with theme music. If it's crappy Midi music, people might just want to listen to it about once or twice, shut the thing off and put on their own music. We gotta try to add something that won't waste the artist's time and work.

Then again just getting there and at the time it was still NPK and CPK so the trip was well worth the prize. Now the best I can do is 400 to 500 bottles no matter what. Still there is something wrong with the weight on the Silkies mine shows very little difference between using a rift with 40% and the silky with 1% also the silky only holds 225 but unless it's all bolts that never happens the weight out does it before then. On the other hand I'm going to test that weight thing again using souls so going to POA for a few.

    I like a lot of these. Epidemic is a good name for what the effect is, and it's a grea thing to be able to do.. but my only problem is that the name Epidemic sounds more towards evil, and it doesn't sound like the name of a skill an illusionist would have… I'm trying to think of another name for it that sounds more appropriate to the class. Maybe something along the lines of Mass Hysteria .. but replace Hysteria with a term that means something like people see others with a sickness and think they have it too. (is there such a word?) Warlord stuff sounds great.. but Victory Strike may have too little practical use (but I really like Wild Swing). Life Bond sounds awesome. One thing about Price of Failure... it can't be counted towards attacks blocked by a defense, only outright misses.. because last I knew, combat consisted of mostly defended attacks (if I'm wrong, please correct me, since I don't know a huge amount about pk). giving Warlord and Crusader a counterpart to Warcry is kind of unfair, seeing as Warcry does almost nothing since strength is easy to get to 25 without it. Belly Smash sounds ... odd. It also sounds like it could only be used when the victim is dead. Avenge sounds good. I really like Death Nova, but how it works would be inconsistent in how you want Belly Smash to work; BS implies that you're near to your group members, while DN does the exact opposite.

    actually, scratch that last part about Skulling fallen players. I encourage it. To fight against the team ressurecting him. But, what I do want to see is Skulling take some time. And that you can't be in combat to skull. It shouldn't be something you can just put in a trigger and forget about it. Someone can easily bash into them or kick them to initiate combat and the corpse would be safe. Another thing I wanna see, but I don't know if it's possible, is a little setback to dying and being ressurected. When you're ressurected, you gain a -15% reduction to your hp/mana/stamina that will only go away once the battle is over. If you die a second time, you get another -15% reduced, until a max total of 60% is reached. This also means that we need a larger selection of ressurection skills. The remort ressurection being the best one since it doesn't cost mana and (we should change it so your stats don't drop to 1 if you use it on a group member as well). Since mana is slow as hell to regen, when you die, you should keep your current mana unless the -15% cap drops below your current mana. Lemme share some ideas for different ressurection type spells. Revenge - Person is ressurected with full hp, mana and stamina(negate the death penalty) all good status effects in the caster's list, but the person is dead after 5 ticks and has to wait twice or three times the normal length to come back to life. Life - Person is ressurected but only has 1 hp, current mana at death, and 1 stamina. Rebirth - Person is resurrected with full stats, (penalty still exists) but this would be a powerful spell, so what I think is that it would need to be recharged, so the spell would be out of commission for 40-50 ticks or require the use of a moonstone. Angel Wings - Person ressurected would be teleported a few rooms away, with 1 hp, current mana, 1 stam but will not be able to use skills or spells for for a few seconds. Zombie - Person is ressurected as a zombie. Full health, current mana and stamina, but their health will constantly go down and heals will actually damage. Sacrifice - A quick casting spell that basically trades lives with one of the fallen group members in exchange for your own. The person ressurected will regain full stats (penalty still there). For a little twist, we could possibly make it that most of these skills is only available on Rings. It's obvious some classes would go hand in hand with some of these skills, but for the rest, you can put on a ring so you can contribute.

    There are two remort areas currently under construction with remort only eq and weapons available for various levels. As soon as they're released im sure the problems will just melt away, kinda like my underwear when Lunani walks into the room:D

    Indeed, Xavis is correct.. that whole system would be… awkward to say the least, and trigger-tastic. Although on the note of spells.. I'd prefer a simple damage increase to adding a range. The ranged skills of archery and crossbow are supposed to give those players something unique... giving everyone the ability to cast across rooms might make those skills useless.. or not nearly as interesting or valuable are they are now. (I wish I had either)

    You must've been bored to do that with the die. If you chose 4 as the failure, it would've resulted in a 16% failure rate. Even if the mastered spell/skill was at 99% it's still possible to get like 10 failures in a row since there'd be a 1% chance of failure with each cast. 40% was based on a 4/10 successful cast trial. :)

There were some questions about newbies against mobs using group tactics. You could use the Newbie Dungeon to teach them about several basic strageties they would encounter against mobs. I'll list a few basic tactics or group formations that I consider basic. Two warrior mobs together. One warrior mob alone and a healer mob 1 or 2 rooms away. (This would bring in ideas on spells that you're able to use from a distance. You would also need echoes that let you know if something is being healed.) Multiple archers blocking a path. The only way through it without suffering alot of damage or death is to find a way behind them and kill them that way. A large group of warriors for some straight up action :P

    This could be very interesting if implemented correctly.. the breaths would need to be made a lot more powerful at full potency.. because at the moment they're not that powerful at all, and this gradually weakening them from their present state being the max would leave them even more worthless than they are now. Frankly, the only real reasons that I use them occasionally, breath gas being the most frequent due to its damage, are to get the skill better, and to attack only very large groups of enemies.. usually at least 5 or 6 to make it worthwhile. Against single enemies, spells or even bash/circle are better. The single-target breaths (lightning/acid) I never use at all.. I would only use them to take advantage of vulnerabilities, but I don't fight anything vuln to either… I would, however, love to test out lightning against a titan. But back to the idea, this could also spur more use of them (from me, at least.. since practically no draconians play regularly) besides simply spamming one of them at a group. Unfortunately, the point of not many draconians playing sparks another point about this.. that it would be something at least relatively complicated that would need a lot of tweaking, all for a race that isn't played except by a very select few that aren't even on much.

    Maze was originally intended to teleport to -guess where- the maze.. and I do know it used to work because a while ago we were screwing around on the test port with exp mobs, and I went to 120 remort, and teleported the the maze with it.. I don't know what went wrong with the spell.

    I remember the feline race idea and thought it was pretty cool. I believe they were first called Liger, then Myan. Here are a couple of other ideas that I had… Mutant - since mutations happen naturally Ape/Simian - part human, part gorilla/chimp/baboon/etc Magical - magic based race like pixie or something

    that'll be fixed when eq's are reset from the enchantments. Not picking on Arkain, but his damroll is so high I can die in 5 rounds. I'm not able to heal fast enough. It has nothing to do with his race.
