    As far as which church gets it, why not let a church who's hall is in that city have first choice? That way Church A's hall is in Plith, stopping Church B from influencing Plith and the denizens of Plith ousting Church A from their city.

    Well i am for the holding a staff or a book to increase magical abilities. But i can see where the books can be over powered. So for an example making books that have different boosts… for example. Book of elements, reduce fire, lightning, frost, earth, wind, etc, by 1/3 A healing book that affects heal spells by 1/3 Some books that make all spells stronger, some that reduce any spell by 1/6 or something like that to make it balanced out. Also making some really strong books but it takes 2 hands to hold, making the dual wield or shield block worthless, but the spell time 1/2, so to not seem so powerful. This would make power creatures like titans and minotars work for kills on weaker races like liches etc, and would also make some new and interesting quests. This is only a suggestion though, and i am sure it will take a long time to create, and create many bugs, but could make the game more interesting for smaller characters. Balder

    I really don't see this as being a part of the game anytime soon, unless resistances change to a system where it isn't a flat +/-25% but a varied system where vulnerabilities are still vulnerabilities, just not as harmful. But, for iron, polarization. Their armour repels the force of iron weapons aimed at them, causing decreased damage. Silver could be diamondize, making their armour harder against silver weapons, also decreasing silver.

    yeah Red, this has been brought up to me before. I agree completely. It's on my list of things to do and I'll try to stick it in as soon as I can. It's definitely possible if a little tricky to program. It's more of a bug/exclusion than it is something i planned on. blackjack/sleep ar ejust kinda special spells because they dont allow the victim, if the attack is succeful, to retailiate directly,. in the meanwhile I'll glance at this message as a reminder. I want to make the relics risky enough to be a fair trade-off for the bonus that you get from them, but not so risky that nobody goes for them, and the pk-relic-system simple enough to be understood by all. If anyone has any other suggestions for this throw em in here.

    I would also suggest Star that the Keep is a higher level area and hence the lower levels shouldnt be in there just wandering. And there are several ways to get past the gatekeeper and his minions even for evil . Just have to be ingenius on ur thinking. (Remember this is coming from an evil one.) Maybe add some more mobs, but what is there is just fine I believe. Maybe what needs to be done is to make another area into an "evil keep" that would be prejudicial against good.

    For spectres, we could really use some changes.. aside from standard remort stuff and the ability to level up all over again, I haven't really recieved any perks for going from drow to specter. I think we should get something about visibility, a new skill similar to cloak of guile and shift which turns us into a ghostly form so nobody can tell who we are - mobs or players. Would also be cool to have natural abilities of pass door and fly since that's what spectres do, right? They drift around and go through walls…. I also think it would be fitting to have a frighten skill similar to intimidate but maybe with a very small chance of instant death (think heart attack) or creating a spell effect of panic which dramatically increases opponent's fightning ability. Also maybe a cool skill or spell of haunting - send a ghostly form flying around room to room beating stuff up until it's killed. On the drow and specter theme, it would also be nice to have a bonus of some sort related to being in the dark since that's where we feel at home, right? I really like the idea of dragons being able to cross the oceans, because dragon really conveys a sense of great physical power - if anyone can do it, they can. Also bite damage would be very fitting there. The breath attacks I'm hesitant on though, for dragons and dracons both since breath already can mess me up pretty bad when it hits. Same with music, there really isn't much recourse once you get hit, and a vulnerability to your weapon doesn't make fighting any easier when you're under very messy spell effects. Maybe for dragons a flap skill, to flap their wings, which would knock the opponent back and possibly make them miss a few hits, cause some damage, and have a chance of knocking them down. Also a defense skill of tail block, automatic, which causes the blow to fall to their tail like a shield instead of main body and reduces the amount of damage taken on that particular hit.

What spouse would not come running to help there loved one. With the cross-zone limitations, I dont think that it should be an overpowering benefit, and maybe even adding a line in Score saying Married to: So&So . So that if you are thinking of attacking someone you can do a whois and a who to see if they have a spouse and if that spouse is logged and capabale of a spousegoto from where they are at. 2vs1 pk fights happen all the time. As long as you arent married to an alt of yourself then spouse goto during a pk fight should just be a benefit not an abuse. IMHO. But even if spouse goto was limited to non-pk rooms then that would prevent it from affecting pk that much accept to prevent the attack from ever happening, just as if the spouse had come by any other means.

    Being able to pick any class whether its one of each or 4 mage classes is a pretty cool idea. However if the good spells/skills are removed and saved only for multiclasses of the same type of class, where you'd get the best stuff if you go all the same class type, I don't think it would result in a lot of good characters. If you went all 4 classes in 1 type, you'd be good at 1 thing. If you wanted a balanced character and chose 4 different types of classes, you'd end up being good at nothing.

    Those are all interesting ideas,, What i would llike to see is a pk percentage list one pk and one cpk, minimun 50 pk battles and say 5 cpk battles. Also since it is obvious that Arkain has abused the arena areas to artificially inflate his pk's (IMHO) that stat is kind of mute. Only reason I say obviously is because with out "fixing" pk fights vs alts or friends, and then even without the no death timeer in arenas, 500 pks in 2 months, (he went from high 400's to over 1000 in the 2 months I was offline) is just not possible. It took me what 2 years to get my 800+ and even not starting say for first 6 months a year and a half. And people have gotten wiser not dumber about pk areas. just my humble opinion.

    Even I remember Inimical being toggled pk while churchless. However, Inimical, CoP did dominate PK at the time. Anyone who could PK worth a damn was in CoP, and many church fell under us. Many toggled PK off, also. But the PK system changed, numerous down times, etc, and now, PK is a frivilous thought on the backhand of someone wiping their ass. Changes to PK without changing the PK system: During reckonings, only recall rooms should be safe, all other safe should not. During reckonings, people in social need to be booted into the game. During reckonings, people should occasionally flee from fear of the purple mist more often, reguardless if they're sitting or standing. Levels 1-2 of poa should not be pk, lvl 3-4 npk, and level 5 cpk. This gives lower level people a little safety while souling/leveling, while anyone who wants to gain good xp has to work for it at higher levels. Make them fight for it. This isn't a teddy bear mud. Add more CPK to the game, but not much, maybe like 5 more rooms to each large area (200+ room areas). and 3 to 100+ room areas. that's all, and have a nice day.

    something different than a church tax could take place then that to determine activity. even though, like church tax, it is a little mm'ish, but i do like the counter showing # of pks, cpks, arena kills, monster kills, and deaths in all these fields on a church info you can do for other churches. I also believe that church info currently should show arena records, and should be a collection of each player's official stats on their score, not just what they've occurred in the church (as far as looking at church info for your own church that is). Mythology

    It's even more frustrating to have cheapskates bidding. I don't put defaults on auctioned items assuming people will pay a reasonable price, not just the obligatory 1. If you don't like it, then you really should consider a more fair price at bidding.
